I had the most wonderful afternoon/night with two of the Taylor kids, Grace and Gavin. I have known these kids since birth...it is such a wonderful thing watching them grow and hear them call my name now.... I am in awe at watching them be kids.........

I decided to take them on an adventure while I babysat them... we went to my cousin's house for a playdate with her three kids... then I took Gavin and Grace out to dinner with my mom and unlce bob. They were so good.. I loved hearing How old are YOUR kids.. i can not wait for the day to actually say MY kids are...... but it is nice for people to see the MOM in me... next we went to my apt to see my turtle... the kids loved the turtles....they also could not stop yelling JANICE JANICE JANICE at every picture of me around the apt and my room. SUPER CUTE...then it was back home for bed....

Patch,

It has been one year since you have passed away. This has been a hard year without you. I would give anything to have you back. I am finally living my dream I talked to you about so many times during my childhood. Teaching children that really need the guidence. I am in center city Reading... I know me in a city.... Life feels empty without Patch. I just want to say that I think about you always and stare at your grave thinking about every moment we spent together. It is snowing outside and boy I would love for another snow day to chase you around outside. You loved the snow and looked forward to eating it! You made my life a brighter place! Today was a nice relaxing day to visit family and babysit Taylor kiddies :) My Godfather, John, and his wife, Barbara, invited the family over for a meal and to relax. John made a great dinner yummmmm.... The kids, my cousins' kids, ran around the house all night while taking breaks to admire the huge tree in the family room. They also loved the train going around the tree! I had to leave early to babysit Gavin and Grace Taylor :) Babysitting included dinner, bath, movie, and play time before bed. Gavin and Grace always seem to get a final burst of energy right before bed. SO I play along in hopes of making "real bed time" easy!!!! I know Grace is ready when she falls on the floor with her blanket. I know Gavin is ready when he askes me to dance with him. How can you turn a 3 year old down when he ask you to dance... and says " I want to dance with you. I want to hold you. " My heart melts right then and there as I bend over pick him up and spin around to the bedtime cd in his player. I wish every afternoon and tonight could be like this one was :) ENJOY THE PICS'

Happy Birthday to a wonderful cousin, Michele! Today I had my last final for college and drove right to Michele's house to surprise her!!! She had do idea and was like who the heck is knocking at her door!!!! IT IS ME!!!!!! I spent the afternoon with her and her three boys, Drew, Nick, and Owen! Then her husband, Doug, come home around 4 while Michele was leaving for work. He asked me to hang around to suprise Michele at work. So I did and was most happy to be able to! Doug also go a hold of Michele's father to join us. So with her three kids, dad, me the cousin, and her husband off to TGIFriday's!!! Today was the last day of classes for my Teaching degree!!! All I have left to do is student teach! I had the most wonderful day! Here are some pictures from my week.! Enjoy :)

First I got to see my mom... she still needs all of your prayers. She is very sick and has been in the hospital for over 30 days.

2nd - I got to babysit the taylor kids and spend the night :) I had a blast.... that family is so wonderful to me. Jason and Alicia went to a wedding so they are lookin sharp :) hehehhe

3rd. My Unlce got married....so had wedding fun on Sunday :) I am enjoying the company of my crazy cousins Wes and Ash. Wes liks to carry his shades all the time...

My Senior year at College is well under way !!!! This is a very thrilling thing but yet scary. So many questions of what will happen next play in mind everyday.

Since I have been at school a few things have taken place ....

1) Met my new roomate and she is WONDERFUL (hopefully we will have a pic taken together real soon)

2) Justin moved back to PA from FL and came to visit us at KU. We went to the gym then dinner then had a tea party ... thanks to the girls in my house offering Tea to us!!!! SO amazing to have him around again.... (i do have pics of that :) )

3) My Uncle Bob had a heart attack and had a quadruple bypass and they found conjestive heart failure... it has been pretty scary and my mind has been heavy with thoughts.... I spent most of today in the hospital with him. Please keep him in your prays...

I spent all weekend in MA for my 9th Steubienville Conference. This time I was lead female chaperone. Boy what an experience. I can not fully put it into words yet. Walk around the track

I just got back from a walk around the track at the middle school up the street from me. I have to say that it was simply amazing. I have not had the chance to go for a long walk since I hurt my foot/ankle. I attended the middle school and it is such a blessing to walk around the track and spend time talking to God about how He has been there for me and changed me since my middle school days. As a middle school student I spent lots of time by the track as a football manager and baseball manager. My life as a middle school student was not fun or good - I was pent up by so much darkenss and fear. Now I know the love and freedom from all the stuff under Christ. I can also enjoy God's beauty in the outdoors since the school sits next to tons of farm land. On my way back to the car a yellow butterfly flew around me and I knew it was a smile from God for getting myself to that track.

I have had many "how cute" moments with my nieces the past ten days or so. I am sad to say they have gone back home to VA. I miss them so much.

My parents got Daesia this tea set pictured aboved...she loved just taking all the things out of the tea pot and putting them back in. Daesia also enjoyed having my flip flops on her feet every second she could.

SO it has been a while since I have updated.... and boy has a lot been going on....

well Father's Day was not like normal... my father was in the hospital and I did not get to see him... he is still in the hospital as I write this... please pray for him.

My nieces are here for a while... so I have been playing Mommy but as an Aunt. I love it so much!!! Just lots of work... More power to you all of you stay at home moms!!! My girls will be here for a total of 14 days! The little one, Mya, is 4 months and the big girl, Daesia, is just about 2. Daesia is very very busy....but then what 2 year old is not.... Mya is good... I think she is feeling a bit under the weather...

SO far I have taken the girls to visit Pop Pop (my dad), my cousin Michele and her 3 boys, my Grandmom, my Aunt Kathy, and of course my Mom is here at night to help me...

I took the girls food shopping, clothes shopping, and out to eat! It is fun... but man a lot of work. I am hoping to take them to target to get their pictures taken... I know that will be a huge task.. I have been with the taylor's and pellegrino's getting their kids pictures taken.

I have been putting my life sorta on hold to be able to enjoy every moment with my nieces... I do not get to see them very often.... it has been 4 months since I last saw them...

I am getting ready to go to the Bridge BEACH week!!!! I am really looking forward to some outside time. I am kinda of sick of being indoors all the time. I need to give a huge thanks to Carla and Greg for being willing to drive me down... and a thanks to who ever is willing to bring me home. (sheri maybe?) I am still in this boot cast thing that makes so I can not drive. I am starting to be able to walk short distances without the boot... but try not to so it heals as fast as possible.

I think all my wisdom has been lost :( They took my wisdom teeth this morning... I am hurting I won't lie.... however I am doing better than I thought. I can talk more than what they said I would be able to... good thing since I am talking again at the Bridge this sunday (if you know what I am talking about please pray for the Bridge this Sunday in general - thanks so much!) My food intake has been mostly milkshakes and icepops. I was dangerous and I had over easy eggs for dinner (thanks dad). I can cook most kinds of eggs but not over easy... good thing my dad went to college to be a chef and can cook up at lot of fun creations. I am waiting for my pain meds to kick in and help me to sleep.... Thank you all for the prayers to recover fast!

I PASSED the PRAXIS II exams but lots of points :) this is amazing.. Thank you God who took me through each question... I am not a good test taker and this test allows me to teach.... and my biggest dream is to be a TEACHER... one step closer :) Thank you Jesus.... I am so happy ........ this means so much to me.

Jason Taylor is starting a new career.... he is leaving his teaching job about like 12 years. I have known him just about my whole life. He is a wonderful mentor and friend on top of a teacher and coach. Several people got together yesterday to celebrate him and his future. He will be missed so much. There are not enough words on Earth that I could say to equal how much he means to me.

Hey having some fun with getting a new look to my page.... how do you like it?

I am also spending some time at my cousin's house. Michele was very nice to come pick me and have me at her house for a few days. It is not a lot of fun sitting at home alone and not being able to do much. I am enjoying the time with my family. The little kiddies are getting so big :)!

This is my last week with my kindergarten class and that is very sad for me. I have loved these past seven weeks with them. It has been such a joy working with them. I enjoy the happiness of the children and just there wonder in everything I teach them. Thank you for all the support during this teaching placement.

My Mother had to come pick my up at college and take me to the doctors. I hurt my foot/ankle more than I thought. I now have to wear this thing for a while.... Still can not drive :(

I am currently in a lot of pain. I had a really bad fall that hurt my ankle very bad. I spent Monday in the ER. This was not the end of break I wanted. It has been super hard trying to teach kindergarten like this. I did go into school today... I will prevail over the pain. Just please keep me in your prayers......Thank you.

I am so in love with the gift of teaching that God has given me. I have had the wonderful chance to be teaching kindergarten for the past four weeks and I can not say how happy it has made me. I feel so at peace when I am there working with the children. This has been a dream and passion of mine I have been going after my whole life. The childhood I lived through was pretty icky and to know for a few hours a day I can provide a child with happiness brings me such joy. I know if it were not for a few of my teachers - I would have never seen happiness during the course of a day. I also know I am so in love with teaching.... because I have been home on break and I rather be with my 21 kiddies... I miss reading to them - singing/dancing with them - helping their minds grow :)...

I had a wonderful day with my cousin Michele and her boys (Baby Owen, Nicholas, and Drew)! She came and captured me at my house. I had broken my glasses the night before and can not drive without them. We took the kids to a playground. Then we went shopping and took my glasses to get fixed. At the end of the day Michele took me to her best friend Teri's house for a tea light party... it was cute. I have known Teri forever...she lived next door to Michele- it is funny because I remember Teri and Michele taking me to the park all the time. So my second spring break is off to a good start:) .

I miss my family in Italy really bad.... It has been many months since I have seen them.... My cousin Zachary is going to be a big brother in about six months :) It is such an exciting time for our family... having another little one around. This picture of Zachary and I is from this past summer when they were "home" before the move to Italy.

Jessanna and I. She is a wonderful friend and I miss her dearly. I can not wait until summer when we are both home from college.

Patch I love you girl. I had no idea I could miss you so freakin much. Life is hard without you. I just want you back at my side. I miss your soft fur... I miss spending every minute in the house with you. Tears still fall from my eyes. The house is so empty without you. I know Mom and Dad are lost without you. You changed them so much :) Girl you will never be forgotten.

On another note:

I am having so much fun teaching Kindergarten!!! I can not wait until I can do it everyday :) My kids went on their fieldtrip this past week... to a hands on house :) It was so cute... they had a blast. There is something about little kids running up to you and hugging you all day long giving you wonderful comments like.. you look pretty today... you smell good... Ms. Sheaff I love you :) Kindergaten is a most wonderful age. They make me laugh so much. I wanna be 5 again :) hehehe

This is an old pic of my crying this past summer.. but I felt the same way last night. I am just so empty without Patch. I could have really used her when I got home from spring break. Things at home were not going so well and I just wanted Patch at my side to talk to her and just cuddle with her by the fireplace. I just miss the companionship with her. She is with me in spirit I know... but tonight I wanna cry. I wanna cry to let all my frustrations go... to ease all my anxiety of student teaching. The message at service tonight hit home with me and how I long to have a loving caring family that just supports one another.

So many things have been going on that I am not sure how to feel anymore. With Patch gone I am so empty - but then I had a niece born, Mya, and I am happy. Then I turned 21! My cousin had a baby boy, Owen, the day after my party. However, I am stressed with school and starting to student teach in 3 weeks. So much coming at me I have no time to take it all in.

A New Life

Today I sit here without my best friend. My dog, Patches, had to be put to sleep last night in my lap. I still have yet to stop crying. It is the hardest thing I have been through in a while. Many people have been leaving and starting new lives elsewhere... but that could not prepare me leaving her forever.
I was in class yesterday when the police come to my classroom. The teacher is like Janice the Police need to talk to you. Talk about embarrassing and scarey. The message was "call your father now, please" I could not reach him on his cell phone. He lost service. So I got my mom on her phone. "We have to put patch down asap. The doctor is holding her until you can get home" I scream NOOOOOOOOO. This was a nightmare. My bestfriend... I wanna come see you but the sooner I get there the sooner you are gone. She means everything to me.
I do not know life without Patches. She has been with me through all the pain and horrific events of my past. She is gone now. And I am so empty.
Please help me pray that I can be at peace and can move on in this next phase of life..... with my 21st birthday only days away.
